if your vote is challenged!

| | Comments (12)

BK posted this in comments but we need to have it in another post. It's that important. If your vote is challenged here is what to do. SPREAD THE WORD.

If you have any problems at the polls call 1-866-OUR-VOTE. It's the Election Protection 2004 hotline run by PFAW and endorsed by several, several civil rights groups. They can dispatch legal advisors to your polls or give you "voter support" over the phone as well as take an incident report.

Incident reports can be seen here: http://maps.voteprotect.org.

And if you run across any mention of voting incidents today online in weblogs, livejournals, chat roms, message boards, mailing lists and the like.....make a report to http://voteproblem.org and be sure to include the URL to the mention in the description.

Post this everywhere you can!

I just voted - more soon!

Election, what election?
Oh Yea, I remember, something about Democracy at work?

So, heres a deal for ya wiggie. I'll stay home so your vote will count or go vote and cancel yours (forgetting for the moment about the electoral college) which would you perfer?

By the way, I would bet my first born I know the answer already - you rock girl!!!

;o)

GO VOTE!

Even if you live in Michigan, where you're going to be outnumbered anyway!!! GO VOTE!!! :)

I really do feel quite terrible, having been put on the block so easily.

*grumbles* Firstborn indeed. =P

hehee

Ok I will. Rember a vote for Ralph is a vote two!

PS
Frog and I went early this morning!

No fair looking it up now! Who won the most electoral votes in an election and how many were they.

Also, out of the top 10 electoral vote getters, how many have are in there more than once and who is he. Hint, he wasn't a democrat!!!

RRegan?

And FrogDad, you think I'm a dyed-in-the-wool, but I'm not! I did not vote straight down the ticket. Almost an even split, I'd say. :)

Good on ya girl twice. Ron - took everything but minesota on his second term. For the hignest count and the third highest was Ron also but he lost 3 or 4 states that year. The second higest vote getter was not a Crook though!

TaTa for now, off to deliver Provental to da frog.

PS dont be toooo sure about Michigan!!

You should see the Quad right now. I'M fairly sure about Michigan. >.<

LOL, Aimee, you may be sure about *U* Michigan. Much different thing. :P Depending where I was standing in GU four years ago, I could have said DC would swing either way, nevermind DC is so strongly Democratic.
