I've found they look better in pictures (like on NyTime and your excellent photos) than they do in real life.
Hello, I'm the owner of Faith the two legged dog that you commented about in September. I appreciate your input when it comes to Faith. She really is a cool dog. We were in NYC last year at this time and didn't see a thing in Central Park other than what is shown on Law & Order! It would be great to see the Gates. I enjoyed your pictures. Reading your words were inspiring. I'm a writer, so naturally I found your expressions to be interesting. Thoughtful.
Enjoy the day!

Puffin, I think you're right.
Hey Jude! (LOL!) I think Faith is an awesome dog. Thank you for your words - that means a lot to me.
Hi Melissa ...
I'm with you ... I don't 'get' the BIG art of Christo's either. I think the best part about it is the great contrasting photographic shots you can take ... the bright orange against the winter trees and sky ... but other than that, it's weird. :) I enjoyed your photo's. I toured and photographed the hillsides of Ventura County California when he put up his yellow unbrella's and asked aloud 'why?' as well. Whoever suggested the money go to the homeless was right on. My charitable side always feels there is more art in the spirit of giving than in doing these kind of grand scale things. Thanks for sharing your experience.
