I've been spending some time this morning (procrastinating, more like) looking at photography galleries on the Web. I'm no photographer but I love the art; I particularly love when a picture shifts our perceptions, makes us understand what it might feel like to be an inch tall, or sixty feet high, or a bird, or a child. That's why I love this simple pic of tulips my old roommate took outside our house, and this one my sister took at fourth of July last year.
This morning I've found some great stuff on PBase.com - my favorite is (surprise) Milk Meets Coffee (and her followup, Color Collision), because it's created a whole different world out of these little moments to which we don't usually pay attention. Then there's Siem Reap, a gorgeous gallery choosing such life and hope in such simple lives.
There are plenty of other worthwhile galleries there - I took a trip to Iceland to see the Northern Lights, and Prague, just because, all this morning. Fun stuff.

*Well Just what's this All Reall Have any thing to Really Do with Me. Sorry Iem Married All Reall Again thanks!!:
Thanks for posting these pictures. I really love the tulip and the coffee ones. It always amazes me the patients a photographer has to have to wait for that right moment to catch that brief moment in time. I've been looking for some pictures I could use in my blog and those two are perfect.
Oh, btw, while you are procrastinating by looking at pictures I'm procrastinating by reading penbitten.com and leakynews.com. Ah, the joys of putting of to latter what could be done now. :D
I love all of these pictures so, so much...I'm a social work student and life can get pretty gritty on occassion, but these pictures and your blog in general help me to remember the beautiful parts of life. So thanks for the reminder that life can be so much more than just basic survival. :) Happy Friday!

Wow. Such amazing pictures of the Northern Lights. Wow. Prague is such a beautiful city as well, I'd love to go there someday.
Leakynews.com is my one-stop procrastination station, but it is completely guilt free because I always read something new and interesting while I'm there.
Thanks for the links - some lovely stuff there!
the milk and coffee ones are amazing...i wish I had a shutter speed that fast though. Great job on Pottercast. The most recent Leaky Mug= :D. The Chipotles were priceless
Love the pictures, especially the tulip, Iceland and Prague's. Thanks for sharing! ;)

Wow, those Milk Meets Coffee ones are simply stunning! Thanks for showing those. I have to pass them on to my boss because, being a fellow coffee lover, I know she'll appreciate them as well.
The coffee and the northern lights pictures are equally magical, which is wonderful in itself. :) The pictures of Prague make me want to empty my savings.
