*sigh* is this an American thing? Cuz i don't know what 24 is (i'm from australia) Ok i will add it to my list (along with tootsy rolls! damn it Eric Scull)of things to see/do when i get to the US in July. lol.
24 = TV show where the story unfolds in "real time" with each season showing the events of one day over 24 one-hour episodes.
In Australia, it screens on Channel 7 (reruns on Fox 8), although I'm not sure that it's on either at the moment...

Is 24 actually that good? I've never seen it. The HBO shows are so damn good, I'm typically disappointed with regular television. I mean, like, HOW do you get as good as 'Six Feet Under?' There's just no way possible!.....Still, I must rent a couple of disks of 24 and check it out....yes, I promise I'll start with Episode 1.

Lucky for Jack Bauer that there aren't 72 hours in a day! How many times in one day can one guy get almost shot, burned, blown up, gassed to death, etc?

i'm going to be in Melbourne from 12/27/06 - 2/12/07 and then travelling to NZ from 2/15 - 4/15
(2 separate sessions of international law classes)
i've heard great thing about Melbourne so I'm sooo excited about my stay there.
I'm also opend to ideas about the travel from 4/15 - 5/10 (which is when I need to return for my graduation and to begin my bar exam prep classes)
Feel free to email me if any of you have itinerary ideas, I'm trying to get it together earlier rather than later so that my friends and family who want to come visit can plan accordingly.

yeh mate, Melbournes great. There is plenty to see and do down there (Crown Casino....drool!) I'm moving down there next year for work- cant wait!
You'll be here over summer so it will be HOT (even though Melbourne must be the COLDEST city in Aus compared to others!).
Um....just make sure you check out the sights - we have some awesome beaches here - especially if you can make it up the NSW coast at some stage. GORGEOUS!

Hey, we aren't all THAT cold! We just have unpredictable weather! Summer one day, winter the next! We seriously didn't get an autumn (or fall to americans) this year. It's crazy. But summer's the best time. Nice weather. Our beaches aren't really like normal beaches because we are in one big massive bay... so no waves. Just peaceful water... which is usually covered in horrible seawead throughout the rest of the year... but don't worry! they clean it for summer! :)

I love 24 too! It's my favorite show, you are so lucky Melissa to have somebody to watch it with. Everybody in my family finds it too disgusting, which it isn't. Well, good luck stephanie!!
I've never watched that show, but I think the Harry Potter films should be longer...or at least make a DVD release with a ton of extra footage like P. Jackson's Lord of the Rings Extended Editions.
