I can commiserate with the sentiment behind that resolution. Just be sure to duck each time you live up to it.
Here's one I've been working on: I resolve that when I encounter exasperatingly irritating people, I will imagine them as characters in a future book for which I will receive much moolah. (And I will never reveal to them why I am suddenly smiling.)
Why does that resolution make me think of a few "boys". LOL :D
